New Customers and Revenue Growth via SEA for
Jouw Groothandel

Jouw Groothandel is a supplier of underfloor heating components that was in a crucial growth phase. The company had just been launched and had already built a loyal customer base from a previous business structure. This foundation provided a stable cash flow, but growth remained limited. To continue building for the future, one key question became essential: how do we reach new customers and generate additional revenue?

 

SEA via Google Ads was selected as a scalable channel to gain visibility at the right moment—when potential customers are actively searching for underfloor heating components.

From a Stable Customer Base to New Growth

Although Jouw Groothandel had a strong foundation, it lacked online visibility beyond its existing customer base. The company had no prior experience with online advertising and wanted to avoid remaining dependent on word-of-mouth referrals and existing relationships. The challenge was therefore clear: to generate new revenue while simultaneously building brand awareness across the Netherlands as part of a long-term growth strategy.

A Targeted SEA Strategy with a Focus on ROI

Instead of advertising broadly, a data-driven approach was chosen with a strong focus on ROI. The product range was segmented into A, B, and C products, with priority given to bestsellers with the highest likelihood of conversion. By deliberately allocating the advertising budget, these products received the greatest visibility. After three months, several product categories stood out, after which they were given their own dedicated campaigns. This ensured that the entire budget of each campaign was allocated to top-performing products, making them responsible for even greater revenue growth.

 

In addition, irrelevant search terms were actively excluded to prevent wasted spend and improve traffic quality. To gain insight into where demand was strongest, nationwide targeting across the Netherlands was implemented, segmented by province. This quickly revealed which regions delivered the best campaign performance.

 

The Google Ads campaigns went live in mid-July 2025 and were continuously optimized from that point onward based on data and performance insights. As a result, revenue during the summer period doubled compared to the same period in the previous year (under the former business structure).

Within six months, this approach delivered clear, measurable results.

Looking Ahead: Scaling and Further Optimization

With a proven Google Ads structure in place, Jouw Groothandel now has a solid foundation for further growth. In the coming period, the focus will be on scaling successful campaigns and adding more high-performing products to further increase revenue through SEA. In addition, testing with advertising on new channels is planned. More on that soon!
